Children Ministries
We love kids and believe it's never too early to point them toward Jesus. At Faith Baptist Church, we're passionate about nurturing their faith in ways that are fun, loving, and encouraging. We want every child to feel safe, valued, and excited about learning God's Word. That's why we offer age-appropriate programs that help them grow spiritually, build strong character, and develop a genuine love for the Lord.
As Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it.” We take this calling seriously and joyfully, as we invest in the lives of the next generation.
Nursery (Newborn - 4 years)
We want your whole family to enjoy worship together, including the littlest members! Our nursery offers loving care for newborns through age 4 during every service. It is staffed by wonderful, godly women who love children and work hard to create a safe, nurturing space so you can worship with peace of mind. Greeters will be happy to direct you to the nursery, and we ask that you register your child with your contact information so we can reach you if needed.
Sunday School & Children's Church
Every Sunday at 10:00 AM, we offer age-appropriate Sunday School classes for children ages 4 through the teenage years. We have classes for preschoolers (ages 4 & 5), primaries (1st & 2nd grade), middlers (3rd & 4th grade), juniors (5th & 6th grade), and teens. These classes focus on teaching practical Bible truths that apply directly to the children's everyday lives. Along the way, kids build meaningful friendships and grow in their understanding of who God is and how much He loves them.
During the main service at 11:00 AM, children ages 4-12 are invited to Children's Church. In this service, kids hear God's Word taught in a way that is engaging and easy for them to understand. They also sing fun songs and enjoy age-appropriate activities and games that help reinforce the Bible lesson.
Kidz4Christ
Kidz4Christ is our exciting Wednesday night ministry for children ages 4-12. Held during the 7:00 PM service, this program gives kids a fun, engaging environment designed specifically for their age group where they can grow in their faith and build strong Christian character.
Each week, children enjoy Bible lessons, songs, and activities to help them understand and apply God's Word to their lives. It's a wonderful opportunity for kids to make friends, have fun, and learn how to live for Christ in a safe and encouraging setting.

Teen Ministries
Ignite Youth Group is the youth ministry at Faith Baptist Church for teenagers. We are committed to helping teens fulfill Jesus' command in Matthew 5:16 to “let your light so shine before men,” by equipping them to live boldly for Christ in today's world. Our goal is to encourage, challenge, and empower every teen to trust Christ as their Savior and live a life that truly honors and glorifies God.
Throughout the year, teens can participate in practical Sunday School classes, fun Friday night activities, summer camp, youth conferences, outreach, and other special events like the Metro East Teen Powerhouse. Whether we're laughing, serving, worshiping, or growing together, every activity is designed to help teens grow stronger in their faith while building real, lasting friendships.
Adult Ministries
Adults at Faith Baptist Church have many opportunities to connect, grow spiritually, and build meaningful relationships. From Sunday morning Adult Bible Classes to men's and women's Bible studies, senior fellowships, and all-church events, there is something for every stage of life. We encourage you to get connected and grow deeper alongside us!
Men's Prayer Meetings
Prayer is a vital part of every believer's walk with God. The Men of Faith gather on the first Saturday of each month for a prayer breakfast, along with additional prayer meetings throughout the month. These gatherings are focused on seeking the Lord together, encouraging one another, and praying for the needs of our church and community.
Ladies of Faith
The Ladies of Faith ministry exists to encourage and equip the women of our church. Throughout the year we offer Bible studies, fellowship events, outreach opportunities, and special activities designed to strengthen their walk with the Lord and build meaningful relationships with one another. All adult ladies are invited to participate.
Silver Saints
The Silver Saints ministry is for ladies ages 60 and older. Each month we host special activities, fellowship gatherings, and times of encouragement specifically for this group. This ministry provides a warm and welcoming place for older ladies to connect, serve, and continue growing in their walk with the Lord.
Food Pantry Ministry
The Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry is a free ministry of Faith Baptist Church that helps families and individuals in our community who are facing food insecurity. Our desire is to meet practical needs and show the love of Christ in a tangible way.
We are open every Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and anyone in need is welcome to come. Each week we distribute food boxes containing basic essentials such as fresh produce, refrigerated items, and other grocery staples. These items are provided through generous donations and surplus from our local community partners.

Directions to Food Pantry
The Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry is located in the rear of the church along the alleyway between N. Charles Street and Walnut Street (parallel to E. Main Street). The arrow on the map marks the entrance to the food pantry. Parking is available along both sides of the alley (see map).

Music Ministry
Music plays a vital role in our worship at Faith Baptist Church. Each service features traditional hymns and Christ-centered songs, carefully chosen to glorify God and proclaim biblical truth. If you have a talent in singing or playing an instrument and would like to use it to serve the Lord, we would love for you to be part of our music ministry.
Bus Ministry
Our Bus Ministry is a vital outreach of Faith Baptist Church. Every Sunday morning, our buses travel to surrounding communities to pick up those who need transportation, making it possible for many individuals and families to attend church who otherwise could not. This ministry allows us to reach people with the Gospel who might never walk through our doors on their own.
Foundations Ministry
Every believer should desire to grow deeper in their knowledge of the Bible and in their walk with the Lord. Our Foundations Ministry offers one-on-one discipleship and Bible study, providing personal instruction and encouragement from the Scriptures. This ministry is open to anyone who wants to go deeper in their faith, whether you are a new Christian or have been walking with the Lord for many years.
